Vin de Pays d’Oc, the next generation of French wines, celebrates Canadian fashion

Wine and fashion share the challenge of combining originality, elegance and a little bit of magic…this is the challenge both Vin de Pays d’Oc, the wines from the South of France, and a selection of talented Canadian designers have accepted to take on!

On April 17th, Vin de Pays d’Oc celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Toronto Fashion Incubator with Ultimate Platinum, the fashion happening of the year! The evening opens with six young designers who made the cut for an intense fashion competition: Sarah Nicol and Kelly Dowdall of quelques filles, Engelbert Gayagoy of 1.619, Ozen duo Phoebe Gao and Enfys Zhuo and Kalam Lee of Malak by Kalam Lee. Must like Pays d’Oc wines, these designers are creative and cutting-edge, but only one will take home the coveted New Labels prize valued at $25,000. The evening continues with the creme de la creme: 20 of Canada’s top fashion designers will astonish the audience with one-of-a-kind red-carpet creations following a “Platinum” colour theme.

Vin de Pays d’Oc

In the South of France, the Pays d’Oc wine region is home to a host of exciting grape varieties which can elegantly adapt to each occasion. Enjoy them with your favorite dishes and discover surprising pairings: red wine with strawberry pie, white wine with cheese and rose with seafood… Also count on innovative and fun packaging with Pays d’Oc: whether you’re looking for an elegant bottle or an environmentally-friendly Tetra pack, there is a Pays d’Oc wine for each occasion. So be creative and experience a completely new way of enjoying wine with Pays d’Oc!
