Vin de Pays d'Oc celebrates at the Toronto Fashion Incubator's new labels competition!

Canada NewsWire - Friday, March 24, 2006

MONTREAL, Mar 24, 2006 (Canada NewsWire via COMTEX) -- Vin de Pays d'Oc, the wines of the South of France, ELLE Canada and the Toronto Fashion Incubator (tfi) were proud to present new labels Fall/Winter 2006 collection at Hazelton Lanes in Toronto's chic Yorkville district on March 22, 2006.

For this evening of fine wine and fashion, a jury committee comprised of industry professionals selected four bright and innovative Canadian designers: Fashion Psychology duo Beryl Bacchus and Patrick Larrivee, Karamea by Michelle Turpin, Las Valentias by Erin Keatch and Katya Revenko of Desperately Different.

Much like Vin de Pays d'Oc, these young designers wowed the audience with their refinement, sophistication and cultural allure!

The winner of this cutting-edge competition, Desperately Different by Katya Revenko, charmed the jury with a collection entitled "moving forward and backward in time". Matching the mood that night with a glamorous wine tasting were the wines of the South of France, Vin de Pays d'Oc. Over 700 guests sampled a diverse array of reds, whites and rosés, enjoyed delicious hors d'oeuvres inspired by the Mediterranean, and were captivated by the taste and style of the wines and the designers.
