S: small town Ontario

Did you go to college or university? If yes, which one and what did you study?
S: University of Western Ontario for Political Science and Art
N: Ryerson for Fashion Design

Have you worked in the fashion industry before joining the Resident program? If yes, where? What did you do?
S: I've worked as a buyer and manager in retail, and as a wardrobe stylist
N: I have done costume design for film, and worked as a model for many years before starting my own company.

Who’s your favourite international designer and why?
S: Phoebe Philo (for Chloe/Celine) but I'm a huge fan of contemporary labels Lover and Grey Ant.
N: Marni and Prozenza Schouler. Also I'm inspired by individuals personal style.

What do you never leave home without?
S: Blackberry and sigg water bottle
N:.Favorite bag of the moment and blackberry

Favourite vacation hot spot?
S: The Alarve
N:Napa Valley

Favourite movie?
S: A tie between True Romance and The Last Unicorn
N: Breakfast at Tiffany's

Favourite hobby?
S: Yoga and painting
N: Skiing and tennis

S: Facebook, I refuse to 'tweet'

S: Stop making excuses and just go for it! Passion will get you a long way.

Why did you decide to locate your business at TFI? What do you hope to achieve?
We think TFI is amazing! The fact that this organization exists just to help foster emerging talent is pretty much a miracle. We hope to take our business across Canada and into the rest of the world with a little help from the amazing folks at TFI.
